The health, safety and comfort of our guests has always been at the forefront of everything we stand for at Westwood House, even more so in this current Corona virus situation.

This is a fast changing situation and we will be closely monitoring and adhering to all Government guidelines and stipulations.

Due to Covid-19 Westwood House has implemented extra cleaning and dis-infecting protocols, utilising anti-bacterial and anti-viral cleaning products (compliant with BS EN 1276 certification which kills 99.999% of germs), with extra attention paid to high touch areas, such as TV remotes, light switches etc.

Social Distancing measures will be implemented, and bedrooms will have extraneous items removed, such as throws, cushions and magazines.

The Details

Arrival - 

  • We will be requesting an estimated time of arrival from all guests to ensure social distancing.
  • A hand sanitising station is available at the front door which we encourage all guests to use.
  • Social distancing will be adhered to at all times.
  • We may be wearing PPE to answer the door.
  • We are very happy to help with luggage, this will be left at the door to your room.
  • To enable contactless check-in, your reservation will be charged in full on the day of arrival.
  • Due to the extra cleaning protocols, we cannot guarantee early check-ins.

Your Room - 

  • Your room will be fully deep cleaned and dis-infected before your arrival using both anti-bacterial and anti-viral cleaning products (compliant with BS EN 1276 certification which kills 99.999% of germs), with extra attention paid to high touch areas, such as TV remotes, light switches, door handles etc.
  • Extraneous items such as soft furnishings, throws, cushions and magazines have been removed
  • All bed linen and towels are professionally cleaned off site
  • We will not enter your room once it has been dis-infected unless requested to do so
  • Daily housekeeping during your stay will be by request only
  • As well as the usual bathroom toiletries, we will provide a hand sanitiser for each room.

Breakfast - 

  • Our light and airy conservatory, where breakfast is served, will be arranged to enable social distancing
  • Sadly, our famous Muesli Bar, huge selection of preserves and fruit buffet will not be available
  • Our equally famous Homemade Granola, with greek yoghurt and fruit compote WILL be available to order
  • We will be utilising a socially distanced full table service which may mean breakfast is a slightly longer affair

Our Guests - 

  • We ask that all guests observe the social distancing requirements at all times
  • We politely request that any guests who are required to undertake self-isolation, household isolation or overseas travel isolation, remain at home in line with the Government advice, and contact us to re-arrange their stay.
  • Guests are advised to wash their hands upon returning to their room. If at any time you require additional amenities please do not hesitate to ask
